I love this post. I have always lived in large cities, but I went to college in a smaller town and it was a major adjustment. However, it is amazing how we adapt.

great post, Dana! This concept of "hometown" has been on the front of my mind too. One of the things that I love most about a small town is that you can search for you (the why and the how)...whereas in a very populated city, you must search for logistics (the when and where). Both provide an incredible journey.

Nice! Moving to a bigger city does have you questioning who you are and where you fit in. I always feel there are so many options of who you can be...it's hard to choose! As you pointed out though, there are some wonderful, comforting things about small towns, Two songs I love about small town living: Jack and Diane and Cracked Rearview Mirror.
