Summer Swagger

At our house, summer events are in full force, which means our weekends are loaded with travel and good times. From weddings, graduations, baby showers, and engagement parties to less formal functions like barbecues, reunions, and restaurant openings – you name it; our iCal is reminding us to be there.

Whenever I look at the stack of invites, my first thought generally doesn’t go to, “what do we want to attend” but more along the lines of, “what will I wear?” So, here’s some of the cutest stuff I’ve got my eye on. Hopefully, you’ll find something here that’ll work, whatever the occasion.

Summer is still the season for weddings (although fall is increasingly tough competition). There’s something for any type of wedding here – no matter if it’s a barefoot beach afternoon affair or a black-tie evening reception at a museum. My husband and I both come from families with four kids – so between our 13 plus nephews and nieces (that plus includes the nephew we’ll get to meet next month) someone’s always got a birthday or graduation party that we’re more than happy to attend. We’re also at the age where baby and wedding showers and engagement parities are rampant…so here’s hoping these little numbers will help you get your fashion fix.
