About

Dana Hazels Seith is an award-winning journalist whose background includes roles as producer at CNN, author of No Cameras: The Clermont Lounge, editor at DailyCandy, contributor at The Bitter Southerner and copywriter for brands like Coca-Cola, Beyond Yoga, and Newell-Rubbermaid. She is happiest when typing at a borderline obsessive rate and fascinated daily by the universal struggles and joys we all face in life. Dana is an expert communications strategist, content creator, researcher, interviewer, and writer. She lives in a 1940’s bungalow in Ormewood Park with her husband, Dan (yes, they really are Dan and Dana), daughters Margaret and Lucy, and dog, Otis.

As a young girl, the moon mesmerized Dana; she loved stargazing on the beaches of Hawaii and plains of Kansas, both places she grew up. Realizing her dream of being an astronaut took the ability calculate equations and how she passed Algebra II with extensive tutoring, she pursued a writing career and still gets queasy thinking about balancing a checkbook. She has a good accountant.
