About me
I am an award-winning journalist who has lived in places as exotic as Hawaii and as middle America as Kansas. For now, my husband and I make a home in Atlanta. I’ve held the following titles in my life: aunt, champion boogie boarder (self-titled), CNN producer, contributor, DailyCandy Atlanta editor, daughter, doubles tennis partner, friend, granddaughter, lifeguard, MSN community manager, reader, runner, senior publicist, sister, twin, waitress, wife, writer, and yogini.

Burned out on the pitching process that every freelance writer must endure, I decided to take my story ideas into my own hands (or fingertips as it were) to see what would pop … danapop.
